Fatal road traffic collision : Pontypridd
Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Treforest Industrial Estate on morning morning 6th September 2010) at 8.55am.
The incident happened on the A4054 main carriageway near The Pottery Public House.
It appears a 20-year-old male was in the process of crossing the southbound carriageway, near a bus that had stopped at the nearby bus-stop, when he was in collision with a black Renault Clio. He suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call The Eastern Roads Policing Unit at Gwaelod Y Garth on 029 20 633 438.

The 20-year-old man who died in the Road Traffic Collision in Treforest at 8.55am yesterday morning (06/09/2010) has been named as Dean Alan Bevan from Aberdare
