If you or someone you know is being forced into an unwanted marriage there are a number of local and national agencies that understand the issues and can help.  Assistance and confidentiality will be guaranteed

BAWSO – Black Association of Women Step Out.  BAWSO is an all Wales voluntary organisation providing a holistic service to black and minority ethnic women and their children, made homeless through a threat of Domestic Abuse or fleeing abuse in Wales- 029 20 644633 / 01792 642003

Cardiff Women’s Aid – support information, advocacy and access to emergency accommodation for women and their children experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage and threat of honour based violence.
