We will write to you, providing you with 7 days notice of interview, informing you of where to attend, details of date and time of interview, and who will be on the panel who will be interviewing you. The same panel will interview you who carried out the shortlisting of your application.
We will also ask you to bring along to the interview any relevant certificates of education and proof of identification.
Please ensure for your interview you bring along a full 10 year British Passport, a Foreign National identity card (if applicable) or a Photo Card Driving Licence.
Please note that if you bring your passport, no other form of identification is required. However, if you bring your Photo Card Driving Licence, we also require one of the following in addition:
- P45
- Original Birth Certificate – issued within six weeks of birth
- Cheque Book and Bank Card - with three statements and proof of signature
- Credit Card containing photograph of candidate
- Proof of residence – such as Council Tax, Gas Electricity, Water or Telephone Bill
The letter will contain details of how long the interview will take, and if any practical test is applicable. Depending on the role, this may consist of a typing test or presentation. Whether you are successful or unsuccessful at interview stage, we will notify you in writing of the panels’ decision. If you are successful at this stage we will then send you forms to complete for your background checks.
