Property mark it,ensure property marking stickers are tamper proof
Always lock your bicycle, even if you leave it for a couple of minutes
If you lose your keys and can still remove your bike, so can the thief
Double lock it,once through the frame and then through the wheel
Leave a small gap between the frame & lock; to prevent cutting
Face the lock/key hole away or to the ground to make difficult to pick
Take a clear, colour photograph & keep a record of its description, including any unique features, logos, markings etc
Keep your bike in a secure garage/shed and fit a good lock
Never leave your bike hanging around the garden
Keep a record of the serial number
