• 18 year old arrested for possession with intent to supply (PWITS) Class B drugs, possession of a bladed article and driving offences. Whilst carrying out Operation Tellima patrols in the area, officers sighted a male riding an illegal e-bike engage in a suspected drug deal. On detaining, he was found in possession of 34 deal size bags of cannabis and a lock knife. A search of his home address seen further offensive weapons seized. Illegal e-bike also seized which has since been destroyed.
• 18 year old man has been arrested for possession with intent to supply (PWITS) Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon after being found in possession of 6 wraps of crack cocaine and a machete. Illegal e-bike also seized and destroyed.
• 32 grip seal bags of white powder and £2095 seized after a male was arrested for possession with intent to supply (PWITS) Class A drugs.

Anti-social Behaviour (St Mellons shopping precinct)
Action taken:
• A Crimestoppers Wales zone has been launched in St Mellons shopping district. The Crimestoppers Zones has been established to help deter criminal activity and anti-social behaviour. We have been working with Crimestoppers and Cardiff Council, to encourage the community to report incidents and concerns in these areas. It is hoped the Crimestoppers Zones will encourage those who are reluctant to contact police will instead report information or suspicions anonymously to Crimestoppers.
• 2 youths now subject to acceptable behaviour contracts (ABCs) following continued involvement in ASB around the St Mellons area.

Anti-social Behaviour

We have carried out high-visibility patrols in identified areas and worked with local councils and housing providers to address ASB.
A prolific offender arrested and remanded. Application for a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) has been implemented. CBOs are often used against persistent offenders and designed to prevent individuals from engaging in further ASB and criminal behaviour. These orders contain requirements and prohibitions from entering defined areas. Breaching a CBO is a criminal offence.
