Following ongoing concerns regarding speeding, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council has installed speed tables in the area. These traffic-calming measures are intended to reduce vehicle speeds and improve safety for residents in this densely populated residential location. Priority finalised.

We have been working with MTCBC Councillors. There are ongoing discussions are trying to secure funding for "Average Speed" cameras. Police are continuing with patrols and monitoring in the area however it is noted by both Police and public that when we are present - there is little/no issue but will then quickly revert to normal when we move on. Priority to continue for the time being.
