South Wales Police is continuing its investigation into the fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the junction of Llynfi Road and Upper Street, Maesteg.
South Wales Police is appealing for information about the unsolved murder of taxi driver John ‘Jack’ Armstrong more than 40 years ago.
Two men charged in connection with an incident involving a firearm in Pyle on Monday, September 22, 2025, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Monday, October 6, charged with multiple offences.
Three men have been sentenced to a total of 75 years for the attempted murder and kidnap of Merthyr man earlier this year.
Four men have been charged in connection with the death of 22-year-old Liam Woolford in Rhydyfelin on September 23.

In response to issues a Section 35 Dispersal Order was issued under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 that allows an officer to direct a person to leave a public area for up to 48 hours.
