Special Constables from Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot (SNPT) volunteered over 800 hours through August to tackle local issues.
37-year-old Marcus Thomas, from Sandfields, entered a home on Arthur Street, Port Talbot as a trespasser in the early hours of June 1 before stealing car keys therein. The stolen vehicle was then reversed into a van, causing damage to both vehicles.
The family of 45-year-old motorcyclist Lynne Trump, from Crynant, who died following a collision on the A4109 near Cefn Coed Colliery on Sunday August 16, have paid the following tribute to her.
A man from Swansea has been jailed after he was found guilty of the rape, false imprisonment, assault and strangulation of a woman.
Five men are currently in police custody.
