Four more Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) have been secured to help prevent crime and anti-social behaviour across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Securing more than 20 CBOs in the last year, mostly for retail crime, demonstrates our commitment to supporting local businesses.
In the last 12 months, twenty-two people have been made of subject CBOs in a continued effort to reduce the impact of persistent offenders on local businesses and the wider community.
Jay Slade, Jake Royal, Joshua Ruck and Zara Johansson, are the latest persistent offenders to join the list and have been ordered to stay away from certain businesses and areas.
Inspector Rya Cowan-Davies, from the Community Safety Partnership, said: “South Wales Police works closely with retailers and businesses to protect them from crime and anti-social behaviour committed by individuals like these.
“Persistent shoplifting can have a devastating impact on shopworkers and retailers.
“Securing more than 20 Criminal Behaviour Order in the last year, mostly for retail crime, demonstrates our commitment to tackling retail theft and supporting local businesses.”
