Jamie Jessett, 48, from Merthyr Tydfil, has been sentenced to five years and 219 days in prison following his conviction for supplying cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

Regular patrols have been carried out in response to reports of rough sleeping, homelessness and begging. No individuals have been identified during patrols, and no further concerns have been reported by the public. Partner agencies, including Homelessness Outreach services, have also attended the area with no issues identified. Priority finalised.

We have patrolled hotspots for drug-related activity and gathered intelligence. A vehicle was seized recently (and driver reported), which we believe was linked to an individual concerned in the supply of drugs. We will continue to gather intelligence to support further action within the locality.
